As young as this blog is, i am already getting interesting feedback on the little i have written. My younger sister aptly pointed out that i made a reference to a young lady and how interesting the situation can get. I got to thinking and i realised that i am, indeed, a young and very single male and thus it will not be prudent to always clearly state times, situations and people that inspire poetry.
My Puerto Rican friend will state that i have nothing to worry about because i write out of the air but the thoughts are always triggered by something or someone. I just want to apologize (for the lack of a better word) for the creative use of the truth in prefacing any of my "work" because i would hate for this to interfere with the whole, single man scene. However if you are lady who would like to believe a situation sounds familiar and therefore could be the reason for inspiration, be my guest. On the other hand, if you think it is another lady, please put that out of your mind, the only inspiration i could ever have is you and if not, then it would be something abstract but not another woman, nay, NEVER another woman.
This will also be my lame attempt at humour so let's hope it is not met with any indignation. Like a female friend likes to tell me, stop being facetious.... so I'll try.
