So i messed around a wrote a perfomance piece. Its been a while since i wrote one however, i figured i will put it up anyway; so read out loud and enjoy. Here is to love springs.
LOVE SPRINGS
I have never done this before,
to let go and God knows
trusting your universe will leave me not worrying
but out of control
and let the emotions flow whichever way the love decides to go,
decides to grow
so amidst rain clouds, i am spreading out to bask in your love light,
but dark days and my sensitive self should hurt when you burn so bright,
and you are burning simply to keep me away
but i am ready to come out and play
the truth is want to be here and i want to stay,
i could keep you with beautiful lies,
but i need you so the lies turn true,
and in truth lies a place you could never be blue,
i know why the caged bird sings,
i hear your song and you have been trapped for too long,
the wing beneath your wings,
i am letting you free as long as you fly to me,
yet i feel like you have taken over me,
i am now yours i suppose,
captivity and freedom juxtaposed,
love and hate birthed in prose,
you need me, you want me, i need to leave you be,
hot and cold,
forget it cause now you staring longingly,
like summer and winter could be rolled up in a ball,
and reason forgot to give rationale a call,
the ensuing confusion and anarchy made ecstasy of this all,
clearly, your love springs eternal,
and you just made me fall
