The day after father's day.

So it's the Day after father's day and the mail man, who is always so nice, wishes me a happy father's day. Well i then start to think, i am not a father but i guess its nice to be wished happy fathers day anyway. If you know me, you know my mind works in funny ways.
Fast forward to 4 hours later, i call my Puerto Rican friend all worked up and my beef, "how on earth did you not call the future father of your kids to wish him a happy father's day...."
She laughs cooly, and says to me, "seriously Kojo, how many times have you said that today"
My response, "in all earnestness, just once, i said that to my Ghanaian friend"
Her resolve, "DUMBASS, i knew that line was too good for you to waste on just me"

Yes, that is the conversation i had with my Puerto Rican friend. Just thought i would bring a smile to your face cause that was heart warming right there.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish my father a happy father's day, a lot of people say wonderful things about their father's but really, my father is the best father ever and i thank my Father up above for my father here on earth.
